1. Introduction

BeYora Business is an offline-first business management application designed to help businesses manage products, inventory, customers, invoices, and reports while keeping business data primarily on the user’s own device.

Your business data is stored locally on your device by default. BeYora does not operate its own backend server or cloud storage service for your business data.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the app stores, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

2. Information We Store

BeYora Business may store the following information locally on your device:

  • Business profile
  • Products
  • Inventory
  • Customers
  • Invoices
  • Reports
  • Settings

This information is used to provide the app’s business management features. It remains on your device unless you choose to enable Google Drive Backup & Restore.

BeYora does not collect or store this information on its own servers.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

BeYora Business does not:

  • Require you to create a BeYora account
  • Collect analytics or usage statistics
  • Display advertisements
  • Use tracking SDKs
  • Sell or share your business data
  • Store your business data on BeYora-operated servers

4. Google Drive Backup & Restore

Google Drive Backup & Restore is optional and remains disabled unless you choose to enable it.

When you enable this feature:

  • Google Sign-In connects the app to your Google account.
  • Backup files are stored only in the private appDataFolder of your own Google Drive.
  • The appDataFolder is private to the app and does not appear among your normal Google Drive files and folders.
  • BeYora Business can access only the backup data it stores in this private folder.
  • BeYora Business cannot access files outside the appDataFolder.
  • Backup data is used only to create and restore your BeYora Business backups.

If you never enable Backup & Restore, your business data does not leave your device through BeYora Business.

Your use of Google Drive is subject to Google’s applicable terms and privacy policy.

5. Permissions

Google account access is requested only for optional Google Drive backup and restore.

Other permissions are requested only when required for a feature you choose to use.

6. How We Use Your Information

Information stored by BeYora Business is used only to:

  • Provide the app’s features
  • Save and manage your business records
  • Generate invoices and reports
  • Remember your preferences and settings
  • Create and restore backups when you choose to use Google Drive Backup & Restore

BeYora does not use your information to track your activity or build a profile about you.

7. Data Sharing

BeYora does not sell, rent, or share your business data.

Your business data leaves your device only when you explicitly choose to create or restore a backup using your own Google Drive account. BeYora does not receive or store a separate copy of that backup.

You are responsible for information you choose to export, share, or send from the app using features available on your device.

8. Your Choices

You can choose how you use BeYora Business:

  • Use the app offline: You can use the app without enabling Google Drive Backup & Restore.
  • Enable optional backups: You can choose to connect Google Drive and create backups in your private appDataFolder.
  • Disconnect Google Drive: You can disconnect your Google account if you no longer want the app to access its backup data.
  • Delete local data: You can delete local records, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app.
  • Delete Drive backups: You can delete BeYora Business backup data from your Google Drive account. Because the appDataFolder is hidden from normal Drive folders, this may need to be done through Google Drive’s app-management settings.

Disconnecting Google Drive does not automatically delete backups already stored in your account.

9. Data Security

BeYora Business reduces privacy risks by keeping your business data on your device by default.

When Google Drive Backup & Restore is enabled, access is limited to the app’s private appDataFolder in your Google Drive account.

No method of electronic storage is completely secure. You should protect your device and Google account with appropriate security measures, such as a strong password, screen lock, and account verification.

10. Data Retention

Local business data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app.

Google Drive backups remain in your Google Drive appDataFolder until they are deleted or replaced according to BeYora Business's backup-retention process.

Before clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it, create a backup if you want to keep your business records.

11. Children’s Privacy

BeYora Business is intended for business use and is not designed for children.

Business information entered into the app remains on the device unless Google Drive Backup & Restore is enabled. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review the matter.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its features, or legal requirements change.

Any updated policy will be published at https://getbeyora.com/privacy. The “Last updated” date above shows when the latest changes took effect.
